Gederne er siden maj 2024 (alts\u00e5 20 m\u00e5neder) blevet malket uafbrudt to gange om dagen. Den seneste tid har det dog n\u00e6ppe kunne betale sig at malke om aftenen. Der kom ikke mere end 1\/4 liter i alt. Langsomt skal m\u00e6lkeproduktionen i yveret aftage. Hvis alt g\u00e5r vel, kan jeg stoppe helt med at malke i begyndelsen af februar. De bryder sig dog ikke rigtig om regn og st\u00e6rk vind, for s\u00e5 krabber de ind i de sm\u00e5 huse, som vi pr\u00f8ver at rette ind efter vindretningen. Gederne har desuden brug for h\u00f8 og halm for at holde varmen. I frostvejr har de om natten ligget spredt ud over marken og t\u00f8et det frosne gr\u00e6sd\u00e6kke en smule op. For fire \u00e5r siden havde vi en kraftig storm og drev f\u00e5rene ind i den \u00e5bne stalden. Det br\u00f8d de sig dog ikke om, og de ville hurtigt tilbage til deres kold
